Motorcyclist Injured in Collision on BR‑376 in Apucarana, Brazil

On 21 July 2026, a 25‑year‑old motorcyclist collided with a Fiat Strada near the Jardim Catuaí access on the Contorno Sul of Apucarana, Paraná, on highway BR‑376. The rider was rescued by the Integrated Trauma Service (Siate) of the fire department, remained conscious, and suffered a wound to his left hand and a suspected knee fracture. He was transported to the municipal Urgent Care Unit (UPA) for medical evaluation. The Federal Highway Police (PRF) responded to the scene, and authorities said the causes and dynamics of the collision are under investigation.
