Brazil Launches Free Youth Courses in Audiovisual Production and Violin
The Instituto Zeca Pagodinho in Baixada Fluminense, Rio de Janeiro, will run the second edition of the "Música em Cena: Filma Xerém" project, a free audiovisual training course from 4 August to 22 October 2026. The program offers 20 places for local residents aged 15–29, covering scriptwriting, cinematography, sound, editing and music video production, and provides a R$ 250 transport stipend.
The municipal cultural office of Iomerê, Santa Catarina, continues its free violin workshop, offering lessons to children and adults on Wednesdays. Classes run in two slots—morning (10:00‑11:30) and afternoon (13:30‑15:00)—as part of the town’s effort to broaden cultural access and nurture local talent.
