Brazil launches July 2026 Bolsa Família payment schedule
The Federal Government announced that Bolsa Família payments for July 2026 will begin on Monday, 20 July and be disbursed daily through 31 July. The schedule follows the standard NIS‑based staggering: families whose Social Identification Number ends in 1 receive the first payment on the 20th, ending in 2 on the 21st, and so on, with those ending in 0 paid on the 31st. Payments are processed by Caixa Econômica Federal and can be accessed via the Caixa Tem or Bolsa Família apps.
The program guarantees a minimum benefit of R$ 600 per family. Additional amounts apply: R$ 150 per child up to six years old, R$ 50 for pregnant women, nursing mothers and children or adolescents aged 7–17, and other variable supplements. In December 2025 the average monthly benefit was R$ 691.37, covering about 18.7 million families (≈ 48.9 million people) with a total outlay of roughly R$ 12.7 billion.
No nationwide “13th‑salary” bonus is planned for 2026; extra seasonal payments, where they exist, are state‑level initiatives that apply only to eligible beneficiaries in those jurisdictions. Separately, speculation about a future increase to R$ 700 per family in 2027 remains unconfirmed, as it depends on the upcoming federal budget, congressional approval and presidential sanction.
