Brazil entered the second week of the 2026 Men's Volleyball Nations League (VNL) as unbeaten leaders after four victories in Brasília. On 24 June 2026 in Ljubljana, Slovenia, Brazil faced Ukraine and was defeated 3 sets to 1 (29‑27, 22‑25, 25‑22, 25‑21), ending its perfect run. Opposite Darlan was Brazil's top scorer with 26 points, while Ukraine's Plotnytskyi contributed 19 points.
