Brazil legal sector sees new academic and judicial publications

New legal publications have been announced in Brazil, focusing on academic research and judicial mapping.

Nine articles have been selected for the second volume of the book ‘Direito, Democracia e Inovação’ (Law, Democracy, and Innovation). Coordinated by Ricardo Salim and Daniel Stefani Ribas, the project is a collaboration between the Academia Barbacenense de Ciências Jurídicas, the OAB-Barbacena 3rd Subsection, and law faculties from Aprendiz and UNIPAC. The selected works cover diverse topics including fundamental rights, public administration, technology, deepfakes, and gender quotas in politics.

Additionally, the 13th edition of the ‘Brazil Justice Yearbook’ has been released by Consultor Jurídico in English. This publication provides a retrospective of legislative and institutional milestones from the last two decades. It offers a detailed mapping of the Brazilian judicial system, including the profiles and voting patterns of supreme court ministers, to assist international investors and legal analysts in understanding the country's regulatory and compliance environment.
