Brazil logistics firms boost cold‑chain capacity with new facilities and fleet upgrades
IBL Logística has expanded its Guarulhos (São Paulo) warehouse with a new temperature‑controlled chamber for products stored at 2 °C‑8 °C. The addition provides 1,100 pallet positions, continuous environmental monitoring and compliance with Good Storage and Distribution Practices, targeting the pharmaceutical, hospital and medical‑device sectors.
Ativa Logística announced an investment of more than R$ 40 million to modernize its operations, acquiring a fleet of isotermic and refrigerated semi‑trailers and trucks from DAF and IVECO. The upgrade aims to meet strict ANVISA regulations, improve traceability and reduce emissions while supporting the growing demand for temperature‑sensitive goods in complex supply chains.
