Lula administration faces divided approval in new Brazilian polls

Recent polling data from multiple institutes indicates a divided public perception of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva’s administration in Brazil.

Datafolha reports that 50% of voters disapprove of the president, while 48% approve. Regarding the government's overall performance, 42% rate the administration as bad or terrible, 34% as good or great, and 23% as regular.

Ipsos-Ipec findings show a similar trend, with 43% of respondents classifying the government as bad or terrible, a five-percentage-point increase from June. This poll also noted that 57% of respondents expressed a lack of trust in the president.
