The Brazil men’s volleyball team was eliminated early from the 2026 Volleyball Nations League, finishing 9th – the first time the nation has failed to advance past the group stage. After the tournament, the squad returned to Rio de Janeiro and began a training camp in Saquarema from 21 July to 16 August.

Following the camp, the team will travel to Japan for two friendlies, then to Italy for the FIPAV Cup Men Elite, and later to France for additional matches. It will finish the preparatory period back in Saquarema ahead of the South American Championship in September, which serves as the direct qualifier for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games. The program aims to restore Brazil’s dominance in the sport and secure an Olympic berth.
