Brazil Ministry of Education Future-se public consultation reaches 43,000 participants

The public consultation for the Future-se program has surpassed 43,000 registered participants, according to data from August 12. The initiative, launched by the Ministry of Education (MEC), aims to increase management autonomy for federal universities and institutes.

As of the latest report, the system has recorded 14,265 comments regarding various points of the proposal. These public suggestions will be consolidated by the MEC to refine the normative process. The consultation process consists of two stages: an initial evaluation of chapter clarity and a second stage allowing for general comments and specific proposals.
