Brazil Ministry of Finance considers credit for 6x1 work scale transition

The Brazilian Ministry of Finance is studying the implementation of credit lines and training programs to assist companies transitioning away from the 6x1 work scale. Finance Minister Dario Durigan stated that the government is evaluating the potential economic impact of the constitutional amendment on employers.

To support this transition, the government may offer financing specifically aimed at innovation and productivity, helping businesses modernize processes and adopt new technologies to maintain production levels. Durigan noted that the adaptation might involve employee training and process modernization, potentially partnering with the Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service (Sebrae).

Additionally, the government has already increased the credit limit for small businesses from R$ 250,000 to R$ 500,000, including resources intended for working capital to support daily operations.
