Brazil motorcycle market sees significant growth in 2026

The Brazilian motorcycle market is experiencing significant growth in 2026, driven by increased sales, professional use, and expanded service sectors. Between January and July, 1.37 million motorcycles were registered in the country, representing a 12.37% increase compared to the same period in 2025. Abraciclo projects that 2026 will conclude with 2.3 million licensed units.

Production in the Manaus Industrial Pole has also risen, with 1.14 million units produced during the first seven months of the year, a 12.4% increase over 2025. This growth is supported by a surge in motorcycle consortiums. Data from ABAC indicates that consortiums moved R$ 9.64 billion in credits in 2025. Between January and May 2026, contemplations provided R$ 6.13 billion in credits, potentially accounting for approximately 29.4% of all motorcycles sold during that period.

The expansion is fueling a broader ecosystem, including workshops, parts stores, insurance, financing, and delivery services, as motorcycles increasingly serve as essential tools for work and income generation.
