Judge Francisco Carlos Jorge under investigation for alleged corruption

The Public Prosecutor's Office of Paraná has referred the “quadricycle case” to the Federal Prosecutor General's Office for investigation by the Superior Court of Justice. The case involves allegations of passive corruption against Judge Francisco Carlos Jorge of the State Court of Justice.

According to reports, it is suspected that a judicial decision regarding a real estate lease contract was sold in exchange for a CForce 520 quadricycle valued at R$ 62,000. The investigation was initiated following claims by the construction company Zoller Ltda, which alleges a scheme to sell sentences within the judge's chambers.

Intelligence reports suggest that an attorney, Michel Guerios Netto, allegedly negotiated the purchase of the sentence using cash and influenced the judge's son to facilitate the deal. Judge Jorge has denied the accusations, describing them as “mere inferences and conjectures.”
