Brazil municipal guards arrest suspects in Cruzeiro and São Miguel dos Campos

In Cruzeiro, São Paulo, the municipal guard (GCM) used video‑monitoring footage to track and apprehend a man who stole a speaker valued at R$3,300 from a downtown store on Monday. The suspect was caught with the equipment, which was recovered undamaged and returned to the business.

In São Miguel dos Campos, Alagoas, the municipal guard arrested four individuals – two men and two minors from Arapiraca – for circulating counterfeit banknotes. Police seized the fake notes, genuine money obtained with them, and other items bought with the counterfeit cash. The suspects were handed over to the Federal Police for further investigation.
