Brazil offers free beer tours in August, from Pinhais municipal route to Ambev breweries
The municipality of Pinhais, Brazil, will host a free "Tour Rota da Cerveja" on 8 August 2026. Adults 18 years and older can register via Sympla from 12 h on 6 August. The itinerary, themed “How to Serve and Enjoy Craft Beer” in honor of Father’s Day, includes visits to three local breweries—Way Beer, Coice da Mula and Lobos—plus a walk through the municipal park and the Criarte cultural space. Slots are limited to three tickets per registration.
Ambev will open four of its breweries for complimentary tours throughout August. The sites in Jaguariúna (SP), Agudos (SP), Rio de Janeiro (RJ) and Ponta Grossa (PR) will welcome visitors on Saturdays, with prior online booking required. Virtual tours from the Ponta Grossa plant will be streamed on 11 and 25 August. Participants will see production areas, receive explanations of brewing processes and enjoy guided tastings and food pairings. Both initiatives aim to boost local tourism and promote Brazil’s craft‑beer culture.
