Brazil opens 29 internship slots in Tocantins and a 180‑place firefighter exam in Roraima

The Instituto Euvaldo Lodi (IEL) in the state of Tocantins announced 29 new internship positions covering a wide range of study areas such as journalism, marketing, administration, education, nutrition and engineering. Stipends may reach up to R$ 1,700 plus transport allowance, and the program aims to connect students with companies while providing professional development and potential hiring after the contract.

The Military Firefighters Corps of Roraima opened registration for a public competition to fill 180 soldier‑firefighter vacancies. Applications are accepted until 10 August via the Instituto de Desenvolvimento Educacional, Cultural e Assistencial Nacional (IDECAN) portal, with a R$ 120 fee. Selected candidates will undergo written, physical, medical and psychological assessments and, if successful, will receive a salary of R$ 3,082.30 during training and R$ 5,128.32 after promotion.
