Brazil opens 40‑slot online course on abusive litigation for federal judges

The Federal Justice Council’s Centre for Judicial Studies (CEJ/CJF) announced an online training program titled “Abusive Litigation and Its Proper Treatment in the Justice System.” Registration is open until 28 July 2026, with 40 places available for federal magistrates. The course runs from 30 July to 4 September 2026, delivering 40 hours of instruction via the CJF’s Moodle platform, complemented by synchronous sessions on Zoom.

Its purpose is to equip judges to identify, prevent and manage abusive or predatory litigation practices, thereby improving access to justice, enhancing case management and ensuring more efficient use of public resources allocated to the judiciary.
