Brazil opens new SESI and SENAI units in Paraíba and BV Science laboratory in Santa Catarina

The Federation of Industries of the State of Paraíba (FIEPB) announced the construction of two new facilities – a SESI school and a SENAI training center – in the coastal municipality of Mamanguape. Presented by FIEPB president Cassiano Pereira during visits to local sugar‑and‑ethanol producers, the projects aim to expand vocational education and professional qualification for the region’s industrial workforce.

In the southern state of Santa Catarina, the University of the State of Santa Catarina (Udesc) inaugurated the BV Science laboratory in Chapecó. The lab, created through a partnership with Argentine firm Vetanco and Hungarian company Dr. Bata, will focus on animal nutrition and health research, offering advanced analytical capabilities such as molecular biology, micotoxin detection and high‑performance liquid chromatography to support the local animal‑protein industry.
