Brazil opens police cadet and navy technician recruitment drives
The Military Police of Maranhão announced a selection process for its Officer Training Course (CFO PMMA/2027), offering 40 cadet positions. Thirty seats are open competition, eight are reserved for black or brown candidates and two for people with disabilities. Applications are accepted from 22 June to 24 July 2026, with the written exam scheduled for 22 November 2026. Successful candidates will train full‑time in São Luís under an intern‑ship regime and receive a cadet stipend and up to a 10 % education allowance.
The Brazilian Navy opened its public competition for the Auxiliary Corps of Praças, providing 400 technical vacancies. Of these, 375 belong to the Technical Auxiliary Rank and 25 to the Industrial Technical Rank. Registrations close on 12 July, the written test with specific technical questions and a essay will be held on 27 September, followed by health, physical and psychological assessments. Selected candidates will undergo a 24‑week formation course in Rio de Janeiro and be appointed as Cabos, with career advancement possibilities within the Navy.
