In the city of Porto Velho, the municipal government issued a decree exempting community, religious, and non‑profit events from the environmental authorization fee. Mayor Léo Moraes said the measure reduces bureaucracy for socially beneficial activities while maintaining environmental, safety, and health standards. Organizers must still comply with environmental regulations and obtain necessary permits for public safety.
