Brazil releases fourth PIS/Pasep payment batch to 4.3 million workers

On July 15 2026 the Ministry of Labor of Brazil released the fourth (sixth) lot of the 2026 PIS/Pasep salary‑bonus program. The payment targets workers born in September and October, covering about 4.34 million beneficiaries and releasing a total of R$5.4 billion. The maximum amount is R$1,621, calculated proportionally to the number of months worked in 2024.

Eligibility requires registration in the PIS or Pasep program for at least five years, a minimum of 30 days of formal employment in 2024, average monthly earnings of up to R$2,766, and correct employer reporting to eSocial or RAIS. Private‑sector workers receive the benefit through Caixa Econômica Federal, while public‑sector employees receive it via Banco do Brasil. Funds can be accessed through digital accounts (Caixa Tem, digital savings), Card Social, agency withdrawals, or, for Banco do Brasil customers, via Pix or TED.

The payment deadline is 30 December 2026. An exception was made for workers in the Minas Gerais municipalities of Juiz de Fora, Ubá and Matias Barbosa, whose credits were advanced to July 15 due to a declared public calamity.
