Brazil police intervene in drug‑related incidents in Apucarana and Limeira

In Apucarana, a 27‑year‑old man who had used cocaine entered a snack bar in a psychotic state, threatening patrons and causing a disturbance. Police and emergency services were dispatched; after a delayed SAMU response, the man received pre‑hospital care and was taken to a hospital for evaluation. No criminal complaints were filed by the victims.

In Limeira, two men aged 24 and 27 were stopped by police while driving a white Chevrolet Corsa. During the stop, officers recovered more than 1 kg of crack and 697 g of cocaine, along with packaging materials and other paraphernalia. The suspects, known to police for prior drug‑related offenses, were arrested on charges of drug trafficking and association for trafficking.
