Brazil police investigate separate shootings in Tibagi and Itaituba

In Tibagi, Paraná, a man was fatally shot inside his home early on Saturday. Armed intruders entered the residence, fired repeatedly and fled, leaving 12‑gauge shotgun shells at the scene. Police, the military police and forensic teams are conducting investigations and a criminal inquiry has been opened.

In Itaituba, Pará, a man was wounded by multiple gunshots at the Bar Na Brasa in the district of Moraes Almeida on Thursday night. He sustained injuries to the abdomen, arm and back but remained conscious and survived. The assailants, two hooded men on a black Honda Fan motorcycle, escaped after the attack. Local police are treating the incident as an attempted homicide and are seeking the perpetrators.
