Brazil police recover stolen bikes in Pernambuco and Piauí

On July 18, 2026, the Military Police of Pernambuco recovered a stolen Honda NXR 150 in the rural area of São Bento do Una after an armed robbery. During the assault, the victim was hit by a grazing shot to the head, received initial medical care and was later transferred to a regional hospital. The police located the abandoned motorcycle nearby, but the three suspects fled into surrounding forest and remain at large while the case is investigated by the Civil Police.

Later the same day, the Military Police of Piauí’s BPROCAM unit captured two suspects in Teresina who were linked to a robbery that used a red motorcycle previously involved in an earlier theft. During the operation the officers seized a Taurus .38 revolver, an iPhone, a Samsung phone and the motorcycle used in the crime. The detainees were taken to the central police station for further investigation.
