Brazil police seize contraband in Ponta Grossa and a Vivo vehicle is stolen in Ribeirão Pires

In Ponta Grossa, an integrated operation by the municipal guard and the Federal Revenue Service, supported by digital surveillance, intercepted a vehicle transporting boxes of wine and perfume allegedly bought in Argentina. Two suspects were detained, the vehicle was retained for inspection, and the occupants were released pending further tax procedures.

Separately in Ribeirão Pires, a VW Saveiro van marked for the telecom operator Vivo was reported stolen from a residential area during the early hours of June 4. The vehicle's tracker logged movement toward Cidade Tiradentes in São Paulo, but police were unable to locate it. The theft was recorded by local authorities and is under investigation by the Civil Police.
