Brazil police seize drugs and recover stolen phone in Muaná operation
In the municipality of Muaná, the Military Police recovered a stolen mobile phone, arrested two suspects and seized a cache linked to drug trafficking. The search uncovered about 9.1 g of an oxi‑type substance, a precision balance, cash, additional phones and two surveillance cameras that had been used to monitor police movements. The cameras were confiscated and forwarded to the Civil Police for further investigation into robbery, drug trafficking and the alleged use of the monitoring system to facilitate crimes.
The police continue to investigate the involvement of the detained individuals in the robbery, reception of stolen goods, drug trafficking and the potential misuse of the surveillance equipment.
