Brazil police seize hundreds of kilograms of marijuana in Itajaí busts

The Military Police of Itajaí arrested four individuals – two men (27 and 31) and two women (22 and 32) – during a raid in the Cidade Nova neighborhood on Saturday, seizing about 880 g of marijuana, 30 crack rocks, five skank portions, cash and paraphernalia related to drug trafficking.

In a separate operation the day before, police monitoring vehicles in Navegantes, Brusque and Itajaí led to the capture of additional suspects and the confiscation of 189 kg of marijuana, 522 g of skunk, a 38‑calibre revolver with ammunition, balancing scales and electronic devices. The suspects were taken to police stations for legal processing.
