Brazil police seize nearly 100 kg of marijuana in Minas Gerais and Mato Grosso do Sul
In Poços de Caldas, Minas Gerais, the Tactical Mobile unit of the Military Police seized four bars and six portions of marijuana, a cellphone, a precision balance and other trafficking equipment, and removed a vehicle used by suspects on 25 May. The seized items were handed over to the Civil Police for investigation.
In the rural district of Anhanduí, Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul, the Shock Battalion seized 97.2 kg of marijuana (107 tablets) from a storage house on 27 May after a tip about a drug depot. One suspect was arrested while a second was taken as a witness. The haul, valued at roughly R$ 200 000, was sent to the Narcotics Repression Division for forensic processing.
