Brazil police shootings kill suspects in Mato Grosso and Santa Catarina

Three armed men were killed after a police confrontation at the Boate do Alemão nightclub in Nova Mutum, Mato Grosso. The suspects, ages 18, 18 and 26, opened fire on tactical police and a member of the 26th Military Police Battalion when they attempted to stop a stolen silver‑colored vehicle. All three were shot dead; a fourth unidentified man was wounded and taken to hospital.

In a separate incident in Navegantes, Santa Catarina, a 17‑year‑old suspect involved in a series of violent robberies was killed after he pointed a firearm at police during a tactical operation. The teenager, originally from Pará, had been linked to a recent armed robbery of an app‑based delivery driver. Police responded with lethal force, and the suspect died on the scene.
