Enem 2026: Exam details, preparation resources, and potential essay themes

The 2026 National High School Exam (Enem) is scheduled for November 8 and 15. The first day will cover Languages, Human Sciences, and the essay, while the second day focuses on Natural Sciences and Mathematics. Candidates are reminded to bring official photo identification and a black, transparent ballpoint pen.

To support students, various initiatives are underway. The National Network of Popular Pre-university Courses (CPOP) is providing academic and psychological support to over 58,000 students through 1,535 courses. Additionally, local programs such as Sejuv in Campo Grande and the Viradão Enem in Salvador are offering free intensive essay workshops.

Educators have suggested several potential essay themes, including the impact of online betting (bets), artificial intelligence in education, climate change, the role of the Unified Health System (SUS), and debates regarding the 6x1 work schedule. Experts also highlight the utility of digital books and social media as tools to build the sociocultural repertoire necessary for the exam.
