Brazil President Lula launches nationwide delivery spree before electoral advertising ban

President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva convened Vice‑President Geraldo Alckmin and several ministers on 3 July 2026 for a coordinated "mutirão de entregas" across Brazil. Live from the Palácio do Planalto, the government announced inaugurations in 12 cities spanning seven states – São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Pernambuco, Amazonas, Alagoas, Sergipe and Piauí.
