Brazil public sector enrollment deadlines announced

The University of Paraíba (UEPB) opened registration for its public service competition, which closes on Sunday, 26 July 2026. The contest offers eight technical and auxiliary positions across its Campina Grande, Lagoa Seca and Araruna campuses, with starting salaries ranging from R$ 2,104.23 to R$ 3,768.36. Applicants must register through the SIGEPS portal, with the written exam scheduled for 23 August and final results expected on 28 October.

Separately, the municipality of Porto Alegre published the list of children selected in the second round of its 2026 preschool enrollment. More than a thousand children were allocated spots, and families must complete enrollment between 27 and 31 July at the assigned school. Required documents include birth certificate, vaccination record, proof of residence and an ID of the legal guardian. Unenrolled children remain on a waiting list, and further vacancies will be filled as they become available.
