Brazil ranks as third-largest global market for child hygiene

Brazil has established itself as the third-largest global market for child hygiene products. According to data from the Brazilian Association of the Personal Hygiene, Perfumery and Cosmetics Industry (ABIHPEC), the national hygiene and beauty market is expected to generate approximately R$ 260 billion this year.

Retail trends indicate a shift in purchasing patterns based on age groups. For infants aged 0 to 3, sales are dominated by disposable diapers and wet wipes. For children aged 4 to 8, the highest demand is for shampoos, conditioners, and oral hygiene products featuring popular characters. Industry experts note that products incorporating elements from a child's universe make hygiene routines more engaging for young consumers.
