Rayssa Furlan Leads 2026 Amapá Senate Race in Poll

A recent poll by Instituto Paraná for the 2026 Brazilian Senate election in Amapá shows former Macapá first‑lady Rayssa Furlan (Podemos) commanding a decisive lead. In the primary scenario, where voters could pick up to two candidates, she captured 60 % of intended votes, ahead of incumbent senator Lucas Barreto (PSD) at 37.7 % and Randolfe Rodrigues (PT‑AP) at 35.1 %. In a reduced‑candidate scenario, her support rose to 62.7 %, with Barreto at 42.9 % and Rodrigues at 36.9 %.

Furlan’s strength is pronounced among younger voters, attaining 66 % (first scenario) and 68 % (second) among those aged 16‑24. Her overall rejection rate is low at 10.3 %, the smallest among the leading contenders.
