Brazil records two fatal shootings in Campo Grande and Toledo
A 40‑year‑old man was shot dead on Tuesday night in the Jardim Tijuca neighborhood of Campo Grande after a motorcycle‑bound suspect announced a robbery and opened fire. The victim was found at the scene by emergency services and pronounced dead before the suspect fled.
A week later, 32‑year‑old Leandro Rodrigo dos Santos was killed by multiple gunshots on Wednesday night in the Jardim Maracanã district of Toledo. The attacker, also on a motorcycle, entered a commercial establishment and fired several rounds, striking the victim in the head. He died en route to Hospital Bom Jesus. In both cases, the police isolated the areas and began investigations, while the perpetrators remain at large.
