Brazil road works on SP-294 and BR-364 cause traffic diversions

Construction of a new interchange at km 592 on the SP‑294 (Rodovia Comandante João Ribeiro de Barros) near Adamantina began on Saturday. The project, carried out by Eixo SP Concessionária de Rodovias, will close both travel lanes of the highway while traffic is diverted to the existing side lanes. The works, which include setting up the construction yard, building a beam yard and preparing foundations, are scheduled to finish in December.

Separately, Nova Rota do Oeste announced maintenance on the Serra de São Vicente section of BR‑364 between km 343 and 352 in Santo Antônio de Leverger from 3 to 7 August. Drivers will travel on a single lane during the day, with a detailed schedule of total closures for signage installation and removal. The work aims to clear vegetation, maintain signage and barriers, clean drainage systems and repair the pavement. Motorists are advised to follow detour signs and adjust travel plans accordingly.
