Brazil rolls out digital health upgrades in Varginha and Espírito Santo

The Ministry of Health chose the municipality of Varginha, Brazil, to join the national implementation of the Digital Dental Workflow in the Unified Health System (SUS). The program will equip the local network with intra‑oral scanners, 3‑D printers, and laptops, while dental staff begin specialized training. Mayor Leonardo Ciacci said the new infrastructure will "strengthen the quality of oral health care" for residents.

In the neighboring state of Espírito Santo, Governor Ricardo Ferraço announced the launch of the Minha Saúde ES mobile app. Available on Android and iOS, the platform lets SUS users view appointments, test results, vaccination records and medication requests, and sends automatic reminders to reduce missed visits. The governor said, "We are putting health in the palm of the Capixabas' hand," emphasizing the state's push toward digital public services.
