Brazil secures 12 spots in South America's best coffee shops ranking
Brazil has secured 12 spots in the ‘The South America’s 100 Best Coffee Shops 2026’ ranking. The list, which evaluates establishments based on technical assessment and popular vote, highlights the growing presence of Brazilian specialty coffee in the region.
Among the top performers, Lucca Cafés Especiais from Curitiba ranked fourth in South America. Rio de Janeiro’s Coffee Five, owned by Emerson and Rafaela Nascimento, placed 62nd and was the only representative from the state of Rio de Janeiro to make the list.
Other Brazilian establishments included in the ranking are RDV Roasters (13th), Do Coado ao Espresso (14th), Elisa Café e Torrefação (17th), King Experience (22nd), William & Sons Coffee Co. (33rd), Abuela Café & Torrefação (36th), Giotti Cafés Microtorrefação (49th), Royalty Café (57th), Cafeteria 15 Coffee Company (76th), and Cupping Café (89th). The top position in the South American edition was awarded to Eco Mapu Coffee Villarica from Chile.
