Brazil security concerns top national priorities in Quaest survey

A national survey conducted by Quaest, in partnership with the AI security firm Pax, reveals that public security is perceived as the most significant issue in Brazil. According to the data, 28% of Brazilians identified security as the country's primary problem, surpassing concerns regarding corruption (22%) and the economy (19%).

The study shows strong public support for technological interventions in law enforcement. Approximately 86% of respondents approve the use of Artificial Intelligence and facial recognition cameras to combat violence. Furthermore, 93% of those surveyed consider solutions that integrate AI with police work to be effective measures. The survey included 2,004 participants and carries a margin of error of two percentage points.
