Brazil sees heat spikes, rain showers and dry‑air alerts across multiple regions

Meteorologists forecast a sharp temperature drop in Acre next week as a polar air mass moves toward the Amazon, following a recent spell of heat up to 36 °C. The same region will still experience hot days with isolated thunderstorms and wind gusts.

In the Southeast, clouds dominate with temperatures ranging from 17 °C to 35 °C in Rio de Janeiro and 18 °C to 30 °C in São Paulo. In the South, Castro (Paraná) will see increased cloud cover and scattered rain, with highs of 21 °C. Uberlândia (Minas Gerais) expects a dry week of sunshine and temperatures climbing to 32 °C, while Araguari will stay dry with a high of 29 °C.

The National Institute of Meteorology (INMET) issued a yellow alert for Marabá and surrounding municipalities due to relative humidity falling below 30 %, raising the risk of forest fires and respiratory problems. An orange alert covers 501 municipalities across nine states for similar dry conditions. In Apucarana (Paraná), Simepar predicts stable weather with temperatures between 17 °C and 24 °C and no rain.
