Brazil has sent its largest-ever delegation to the WorldSkills Shanghai 2026 competition, the world's premier vocational education event. The delegation consists of 209 people, including 71 competitors aged 18 to 24. Of these competitors, 62 are from Senai and nine are from Senac, covering all 64 official occupations featured in the event.

The competition, held from September 22 to 27, brings together over 1,400 participants from 70 countries. The Brazilian team includes 64 experts for technical guidance and arbitration, six team leaders, and 46 interpreters and translators.

Among the participants are Guilherme Lunardi and Erick Fanka from Senai-RS, who will compete in Drywall Systems and Intelligent Security Technology, respectively. Lunardi, a two-time national champion in Drywall Systems, noted that the challenge lies in performing high-quality work within strict time constraints.
