Adidas launches TRIONDA FINAL ball for 2026 World Cup semifinals and final
Adidas has unveiled a special edition match ball called TRIONDA FINAL for the semi‑finals, the third‑place match and the final of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The ball keeps the four‑panel construction, deep seams and textured surface of the standard TRIONDA, while adding a premium design with gold, white and black tones and pink‑red accents. Its panels feature the names of the host cities – Dallas, Atlanta, Miami and New York/New Jersey – marking the first time a World Cup will use a dedicated ball for the concluding stages. The ball also incorporates the latest adidas Connected Ball technology, delivering real‑time data to assist referees and enhance tactical analysis. Adidas highlighted the commercial impact, noting €6.592 billion sales in Q1 2026, a 14 % growth partly driven by World Cup demand. “TRIONDA FINAL será utilizado exclusivamente en semifinales, tercer puesto y final del Mundial 2026, una decisión inédita,” the company said.
