Brazil sets September 13 deadline for partial campaign finance reporting

The deadline for political parties, candidates, and female candidates to submit partial campaign finance reports to the Electoral Justice system ends this Sunday, September 13. This reporting window covers financial movements occurring from the start of the campaign through September 8.

Reports must be submitted via the Conta+JE system and include details on transfers from the Party Fund and the Special Campaign Financing Fund (FEFC). Documentation must also account for all financial resources, in-kind donations, and expenditures, including specific identification of suppliers and donors (via CPF or CNPJ).

Submission is mandatory for all registered candidates, even if no financial movement occurred during the period. Failure to present these reports or providing incorrect information is considered a serious violation under electoral legislation. Once processed, this financial information will be made available to the public through the DivulgaCandContas system starting September 15.
