Brazil targets new global markets through agribusiness reputation

The Brazilian government is implementing a strategy to expand agribusiness exports by leveraging the sector's reputation for sustainability and tropical technology. Through the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa), the administration has intensified commercial promotion and sanitary defense efforts to position Brazil as a reliable global supplier.

This approach aims to open more than 700 new destinations for Brazilian products. Officials emphasize that communicating the unique nature of tropical agriculture is essential, particularly when negotiating with regions like Europe, where different environmental conditions and regulatory frameworks exist. The diversification of markets is being highlighted as a key measure to protect domestic producers.
