Brazil to deactivate Tesouro Direto investment app on August 17

The Brazilian Ministry of Finance has confirmed that the Tesouro Direto investment application will be deactivated on August 17. The shutdown is described as a temporary pause intended to allow for the development and launch of a redesigned user experience.

Authorities emphasized that the deactivation will not impact invested assets. All existing holdings, including bond types, invested amounts, and profitability, will remain secure and unchanged.

During the transition period, investors can continue to monitor their portfolios through the official Tesouro Investor Portal, the official website, or via the applications provided by their respective banks and brokerages.
