Brazil prepares for 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup

Preparations for the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup in Brazil are advancing as organizers align on operational details. FIFA is set to reveal the preliminary match schedule, which will detail matchups across eight host cities, including Recife, Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Fortaleza, Porto Alegre, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, and São Paulo.

In Pernambuco, the local football federation has met with FIFA officials to coordinate logistics for the Arena de Pernambuco. The tournament, scheduled to take place between June 24 and July 25, 2027, will be the first Women's World Cup held on South American soil.

Regarding accessibility, FIFA aims to make ticket prices more affordable compared to the 2026 men's tournament. FIFA estimates revenue from tickets and hospitality packages at approximately US$ 42 million. While specific pricing models have not yet been released, the organization stated that a priority is to ensure the event is accessible to all fans while maintaining high-quality environments in the host cities.
