FIFA announces 2027 Women’s World Cup schedule and host cities in Brazil

FIFA has released the official match schedule for the 2027 Women’s World Cup in Brazil, which will run from June 24 to July 25, 2027. The tournament will feature 32 national teams competing in 64 matches across eight host cities.

The Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro is set to host both the opening match and the championship final. Other host cities include Brasília, Porto Alegre, Recife, Salvador, Belo Horizonte, Fortaleza, and São Paulo. In the United States, fans will be able to stream every match live via Netflix.

The final draw ceremony to determine group compositions and tournament paths is scheduled for December 11, 2026, at the Museum of Modern Art (MAM) in Rio de Janeiro. The venue was chosen to honor the concept of ‘futebol arte,’ celebrating the intersection of Brazilian football and artistic expression.
