Brazil toll operators ViaSul and Entrevias increase fees in 2026

The National Land Transport Agency (ANTT) approved a 20% increase in the basic toll tariff for ViaSul, the concessionaire that operates seven toll plazas on BR‑101, BR‑290, BR‑386 and BR‑448 in Rio Grande do Sul. Effective at 00:00 on Friday, the fee for Category 1 vehicles rose from R$ 5.50 to R$ 6.60. The adjustment follows contract provisions and reflects the IPCA inflation index, contractual rebalancing and the impact of extreme weather events that affected the region in 2024.

In São Paulo, the State Delegated Public Services Agency (Artesp) ratified a 4.724719% toll increase for Entrevias, which manages about 570 km of highways connecting Ribeirão Preto to the Minas Gerais border and Marília to Florínea on the Paraná border. The new rates take effect at midnight on 6 July 2026 and are based on the accumulated IPCA variation between June 2025 and May 2026, as part of the 10‑year contract revision between the state government and the concessionaire.
