Brazil tourism projected to rise during 2024-2025 high season

Travel demand for Brazil is projected to rise during the 2024-2025 high season. SKY Airline anticipates a 28% increase in passengers traveling between Santiago and major Brazilian hubs such as Florianópolis, Rio de Janeiro, and Sao Paulo, with over 255,000 passengers expected.

Florianópolis is seeing significant growth, with a projected 58% increase in passengers. Additionally, new flight routes between Santiago and Salvador de Bahia will operate twice weekly to accommodate travelers during the February carnival season.

Travelers looking to visit Brazil in November may find a favorable window before the peak summer rush. Popular destinations include Praia do Forte in Bahia, known for its natural pools and infrastructure, and Maragogi in Alagoas, which is noted for its clear waters and natural reefs.
