Brazil Under-20 squad features Ruan Pablo and Lucas Rodrigues
Two Brazilian players, Ruan Pablo of Esporte Clube Bahia and midfielder Lucas Rodrigues of Goiás, have been called up to the Brazil Under-20 national team for a series of international friendlies in Spain.
Under the direction of coach Paulo Victor, the squad will play three matches at the Pinatar Arena in São Pedro del Pinatar. The schedule includes a match against Denmark on September 28, followed by games against the United States on October 1 and Mexico on October 4. These fixtures serve as preparation for the 2027 South American Under-20 Championship.
Ruan Pablo, an 18-year-old striker, recently signed a contract extension with Bahia through 2030, which included a significant increase in his domestic release clause to R$ 110 million and an international release clause of 200 million euros. Lucas Rodrigues, also 18, has been a standout performer for Goiás this season and previously appeared in friendlies against Chile.
