Brazil Under-20 squad includes Huguinho and Lucas Rodrigues

Brazil Under-20 international friendly Botafogo Goiás EC football call-up

Two Brazilian youth players, Huguinho from Botafogo and Lucas Rodrigues from Goiás, have been called up to the Brazil Under-20 national team for a series of international friendly matches in Spain.

Huguinho, a 19-year-old midfielder, expressed that representing his country is a “very special moment” in his career as the team prepares for the South American Under-20 Championship scheduled for January 2027.

Lucas Rodrigues, an 18-year-old midfielder, will be unavailable for Goiás for the next two rounds of the Brazilian Serie B due to his international commitments.

The Brazil Under-20 squad is scheduled to face Denmark on September 28, the United States on October 1, and Mexico on October 4.
